The median annual income for a Medisave caseworkers was $63,935 in 2018, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The median wage for a nurse was $48,056, according the National Association of State Health Officials.
Medi-Care is one of the nation’s largest providers of MediCare MediHealth, the Medicare-for-all program that provides care to all Medicare beneficiaries.
The BLS also reported that in 2018 the median annual wage for health care workers in California was $66,812, a 17.4% increase from the year before.
The wage was 8.6% higher than the median wage in 2020.
In the state, the median yearly wage for workers with less than a bachelor’s degree was $39,919, a 7.4 percent increase from last year.
The number of workers earning more than $75,000 rose to 10.7% from 8.3% in 2020, according that same report.
In 2018, the number of people working full-time in the state’s health care industry rose to 6.7 million, up from 5.3 million in 2020 and from 3.5 million in 2016.
