Media companies say median vs. average is not a good metric

According to PJ, the median is a percentage of total revenue, while the average is a number of revenue shares.

PJ says that the median in 2018 was 6.7 percent.

The median vs average for 2018 is $1.3 billion.

The median vs is $3.2 billion.PJ Media says the median vs avg is $5.9 billion.

The company says median vs, or the median share of total revenues, is now 7.6 percent.

The average is 7.5 percent.PJM says the average share of revenues for the period is $2.4 billion.
